[OPEN] DERSE MINGLE

[patriachy]

DERSE, also known as the Kingdom of Darkness is one of the two kingdoms in the INCIPISPHERE, located beyond The Veil of asteroids that surround the Medium. DERSE wages an unending war against the Light Kingdom, PROSPIT, striving for the destruction of SKAIA.

Those who dream on DERSE are viewed generally more as "team mascots"; although the DERSITE residents consider the DREAMERS to be their allies, THE ULTIMATE GOAL will eventually put the DREAMERS at odds with the residents of DERSE, who covet SKAIA'S destruction.

It is time for the DREAMERS to begin awakening.

[ high in her tower, curled up on a similar pile to the one her waking self sleeps on, dream mandya is still trying to convince herself that this weird purple place isn't real and that she's still asleep. however, she's actually been technically awake for sweeps.

come bother her and make her face the facts ]

[ nikkal, also having been awake for sweeps, has been floating among the many dersite citizens. they seem to be a little bit on edge right now though, which isn't very much fun, so now she finds herself hovering back up toward the towers.

instead of going to her own tower though, she moves over to mandya's and peeks inside the window, resting her elbows on the sill. ] Hey, Manman.

[ SHE'S LONELY OK ] Is Manman awake?

[ mandya doesn't react, just continues to bury her face into her pile and attempts to ignore her surroundings. maybe if she tries really hard she'll stop hearing that voice that sounds like nikkal and get some normal sleep for once. ]

[ oh she is totally awake. nikkal climbs in through the window and trots over to the pile, bending over to try and get a look at mandya's face. ] Maaaanmaaaaaaan...

Mrrrr..... [ mandya lets out a low grunt before turning away and curling up. nope, nope this is not happening, she is totes not going to acknowledge that nikkal is in her weird purple dream, NONE OF THIS IS HAPPENING LA LA LA SHE CAN'T HEAR YOU!!!!! ]

Heeheehee! [ she just moves over to mandya's other side X(!! ] Niknik knows Manman's awake! She just doesn't wanna get out of bed!

[ fdjkgfdjgjksg nikkal you are ruining everything!!!! mandya whines again and starts to physically bury her head in her pile, keeping her eyes shut the whole while. she can't accept this so easily!!! ]

[ WELP. nik's just gonna flop right down in the pile next to her, then. ] Wow, this pile isn't very comfy. [ and now she's gonna dig around in it and pull out a candy wrapper. and because she is hideous, she's gonna lick it.





except it's REALLY OLD so it tastes terrible. ] BLUH!

Dumbass......[ mandya mumbles and lets out an undignified snort at nikkal's misfortune before remembering she's supposed to be asleep. FUCK. quick, go limp again and curl up! she can't be awake, she just can't! ]

[ nikkal tosses the wrapper down and frantically wipes her tongue off on a sleeve. ew ew ew.

she turns around and pokes mandya's shoulder. ] Manmaaaaan, the Dersites are actin' funny and it's boriiiing and they're no fun to talk to. Niknik is lonelyyyy!

[ nope, not gonna react to the poking. not gonna ask what a dersite is either. she's just going to curl up and try to go back to sleep like she has for the last few sweeps!!!! ..... though that last bit about nikkal being lonely does make her feel kinda bad for reasons she won't explore. ]

[ well then, excuse her while she flops RIGHT ON YOU. ] It's really depressing! They're acting like somebunny died or something.

Oof! [ mandya flails at the flopping and tries to wriggle away, to not much effect ] Get off, Nikal, I'm trying to sleep! [ hey look she pronounces your name wrong irl too ]

Heeheeheehee! [ FLOOOPSSSSSSS. ] Manman says Niknik's name funny!

[ flails more!!! kind of kicking her legs uselessly now ] No, I say it great.

[ FLAILS AND FLOPS she is giggling like a maniac. ] Heeheeheeheehee~

Manman's totally awake though! How can she be talking to Niknik if she's asleep?

Hehehehe~ [ she finally gets off of mandya and starts scampering around the room. ] Niknik wins this one!

[ grumbles and pulls herself upright, promptly crossing her arms in annoyance. her room in this tower looks much like her hive, except probably a little bigger and slightly less cluttered. ]

Yeah, whatever. I hope you're happy, this is gonna be shit to deal with when I wake up. [ pauses, frowns ] Also...... I think I've been out of the tower once? I was really little though, I don't remember well. [ more like she doesn't WANT to remember. horrorterror whispers are creepy as hell and nothing she wants to deal with right now ]

Really? Niknik's been outta her tower a whole lot. The Dersites are really fun to talk to! ...most of the time, they're being mopey and boring right now.

[ she pauses in her prancing to look out a window-- hey, looks like something's going on down there. ] Hey Manman, come check this out...

Ok I'm not sure what a Dersite is but I'm not gonna question it.

[ grumbles a little and climbs to her feet, then wanders over to look out the window ]

..... The fuck's going on down there?

Dunno. [ there seems to be a large crowd of dersites weaving through the streets. it's hard to tell from this distance, but it looks like they're carrying something... ]

Let's go check it out! [ and with that, she grabs mandya's wrist and totally leaps out the window. DON'T WORRY SHE CAN FLOAT OK ]
