[OPEN] DERSE MINGLE

DERSE, also known as the Kingdom of Darkness is one of the two kingdoms in the INCIPISPHERE, located beyond The Veil of asteroids that surround the Medium. DERSE wages an unending war against the Light Kingdom, PROSPIT, striving for the destruction of SKAIA.

Those who dream on DERSE are viewed generally more as "team mascots"; although the DERSITE residents consider the DREAMERS to be their allies, THE ULTIMATE GOAL will eventually put the DREAMERS at odds with the residents of DERSE, who covet SKAIA'S destruction.

It is time for the DREAMERS to begin awakening.

[ she pouts for a moment, as she always does when someone doesn't like her nicknames. but she perks up again soon enough when attention is drawn to her horns, and she reaches up to poke at them. ]

Oh, thanks! Hehehe. They make Niknik think of moon shapes.

_{[Horns aren't particularly malleable in most cases, but Faye is hard to liken an encounter with an alien to "most cases". Nonetheless, she's a little impressed. Girl is coordinating whether on purpose or not.]}

Yep yep, always! [ she grins and prods at them again before dropping her hands. ] Niknik doesn't mind, though. She likes the moon.

Do all trolls have horns like yours? And what's to like about the Moon?

_{[There is no judgement in her tone, she's curious. She can think of her own reasons well-enough, but if that's what she wanted, she wouldn't be asking.]}

All trolls have horns but they come in lots and lots of different shapes! Like umm, Kapkap's horns start at the back of his head and bend forward, and Manman's horns are straight and kinda look like a pouchbeast's auricular sponge clots--

[ oh. there's a whole other subject for her to ramble on. consider her train of thought derailed. ]

There's a lot to like about the moon! [ she turns around to look up into the void. skaia is just barely a pinprick in the distance, so the closest thing she can find to a "moon" is the one belonging to derse itself. ] For one thing, moons don't hurt Niknik's eyes like the sun does. Moons are gentle. And looking at the moon and the stars and everything in the sky calms Niknik and makes her happy!
