ALL RIGHT. Today is the day, which is to say, TODAY IS THE DAY THAT THE WORLD ENDS. All in all, it's a pretty big day for you.

Despite the fact that this is like YOUR WRIGGLING DAY COME EARLY, though, you approach it with some apprehension. Not only do you not know what's ahead of you, but even though you don't like many of your people, you still feel KIND OF BAD. You're not HEARTLESS, you just have VERY HIGH STANDARDS.

Regardless, if you want a real shot at actually getting to RE-MAKE THE UNIVERSE ACCORDING TO YOUR IDEALS, you're going to have to make sure this whole thing goes well. You're still not sure why Phaest is bringing along some of these assholes, but you're going to do your damnedest to make sure your group wins this game.

Hence:

AA at ?:?? opened memo on board SCRIB PLANNING AND ORGANIZATION.

AA: All right.
AA: It's time to get down to business.
AA: Where does everyone stand with readiness at this juncture?

You are well onto the way of doing so. In fact, you have been ready to do so since the team order was decided, perhaps an effect of Ria buzzing about excitedly. The two of you have decided it more prudent and sensible that you, with the currently steadier hands, begin the process of running this game, starting with the tedious installation of the program itself -- its strange, flickering loading screen almost hypnotic as you stare into it.

Finally, it occurs to you that perhaps you should contact your fellow player in order to inform you that the two of you are ready.

No. You will not flip your shit. You will not freak out. You will not panic. You will remain perfectly calm. You don't even have anything to freak out about anyway. Although Arinna hasn't been answering when you try to troll her. Your last contact with her was when she gave you your copy of the game, and you haven't heard a word from her since. It's not too worrying. After all, it hasn't been that long since your last contact. You'll start worrying when it's been a perigee since Arinna last answered your trolling attempts. Or when giant flaming rocks start falling from the sky. Which ever is sooner.

You suppose that you could pass out copies of the game in Arinna's stead. She probably wouldn't mind.
