[MEMO: ALPHA/OPEN OTHERWISE] ==> Kaprao: Go tell people stuff.
You are currently KIND OF GENERALLY ANNOYED AT EVERYTHING.
It is a state of being you are finding yourself in more often ever since you started this game. It is quite possibly because YOU KEEP GETTING BEATEN UP BY IMPS, even if eventually your gardening spade wins out when you've stabbed them enough times with it. It is however, INCREDIBLY ANNOYING. As have many things about this game have been.
It also does not help that you are covered in scratches from attempting to administer poison to imps, and you have just watched a bunch of them die slowly and, presumably, painfully. You even had a little stop watch. You have run around a dozen of such tests to test the poisons you have in the hive, and you kind of have a BAD TASTE in your mouth right now.
At least it's done and over with.
-- CURRENT passiveSampler [PS] RIGHT NOW opened memo PLEASE READ. --
PS: so CS asked me to go check how we|| poison works
PS: on game enemies
PS: they don't seem to suffer most of the side effects from poisons
Which you can't help but feel a little disappointed about, since a lot of poison's usefulness comes from the symptoms.
PS: but they do at least fee| pain
PS: and it does ki|| them gradua||y
PS: the game a|so seems to treat different kinds of poison the same
PS: and so far i haven't seen whether there are "stronger" poisons
PS: or "weaker" ones
PS: as far as the game understands them
PS: though urm
PS: since CS a|so suggested that poison can be used to he|p with batt|es
PS: i can give them if anyone wants them
PS: nothing too |etha| or painfu|
PS: so if accidents happen at |east no one wi|| be curled up on the ground dying somewhere
PS: urm
PS: that said
PS: some of the imps have these |itt|e f|owers on their backs
PS: p|ease don't touch them
PS: if you do, wash your hands as soon as possib|e, thorough|y
PS: and i guess you shou|d be carefu| about imps attacking you
PS: in case they've deve|oped poison or venom themse|ves
PS: just
PS: don't |et it get into your system
PS: it is high|y
PS: unp|easant
PS: of the nauseating and vomit-inducing kind
PS: and a|so potentially b|oodpusher-stopping kind too
PS: either way it wou|d be a painfu| and s|ow way to die
((OOC: Kappy is open to pestering from other people as well!!!))

I've only re4d 4bout... them though, yes, m4ybe.
M4ybe, just in c4se... is there 4 cure... for the poisons to... use if 4ccidents h4ppen?
Oh 4nd um very... import4nt, yes, I think.
Do imps sque4k when... they get poisoned, m4ybe?
no subject

i have antidotes
urm
You're not sure if you really want to talk about this.
they make
a |ot
of weird sounds
sound |ike gurg|ing sometimes
the death cry is probab|y the worst
no subject
So you c4n help... if 4nything h4ppens, yes?
4nd um, I think... I underst4nd, yes, m4ybe.
But no sque4king sounds?
no subject

urm
squeaking sounds too, yes
no subject
How long do poisons... t4ke to kill, m4ybe?
Th4t's very b4d if... they're very f4st, yes.
M4ybe other pl4yers should... prep4re 4ntidotes too, m4ybe?
4nd w4it, then, oh.
Th4t's not very helpful.
But oh! More import4ntly!
Do you sque4k 4t... 4ll, K4pr4o? It's import4nt.
Especi4lly when fighting, m4ybe.

it takes a |ot to make something that is instant death materia|
and it rea||y isn't cost-effective or sensib|e
most poisons ki|| because of the side-effects
and even strong poisons wi|| take a bit before you can fee| them
urm
why do you ask?

I may also attempt to alchemize some gloves in the event that I do inadvertently come into contact with them.

though i guess i've jinxed myse|f now

it dOes seem maybe~
a little silly~
tO have prOtOtyped sOmething that dangerOus~
if yOu dOn't mind me saying~
But you are not the type to yell at anyone, much less someone as sad as Kaprao. That will have to fall to someone else.
no subject
not okay
when i was making prototyping decisions
Which...well, excuses aren't going to fix anything, but it's the only explanation you have for this, because WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?
Nothing, probably, because you were too busy being upset at everything at the time.
no subject
You can't help pausing for a moment, looking at that response because... that excuse actually makes you kind of angry...? Which is an emotion that keeps coming up now that you're back and you have to take another minute to swallow it before you type anything else.
are yOu maybe better nOw~

~I'm~ impressed. ~~CS
But hmm... ~~CS
So it does indeed deal damage, but does not appear to have any additional side effects on them... ~~CS
Still quite useful. ~~CS
That said... ~~CS
It is worth remembering around this point that your SPECIBUS of choice is GLOVEKIND, which while it involves wearing things on your hands does not necessarily entail full coverage or protective materials. What it does necessarily entail is directly touching enemies.
You switch over to messaging Kaprao privately rather than responding directly to the memo. The worst thing about being poisoned, as everyone knows, is the EMBARRASSMENT.
~I've~ been reading the rest of the memo. ~~CS
Don't think ~I~ haven't noticed that you're responsible for these "flower imps"... ~~CS
Send ~me~ some of that antidote you mentioned. ~~CS
~I~ plan on working in a party formation with some of the others and they may make a mistake. ~~CS
You know how it is. ~~CS
no subject
and i'|| give out the code to everyone
Though you are beginning to realize you're not totally sure how this alchemitizing thing works...
no subject
Might want to hurry up on that a bit, though... ~~CS
Never know when ~someone~ might mess up! ~~CS
no subject
that
