[S] Perrix: Coordinate.
Now that things are a bit more calmed down after you managed to get into the game proper, you decide to take a break from constant STRIFE to gather some very important information. See, you're only vaguely familiar with most of your fellow PLAYERS. Even out of the ones you know, you're not terribly familiar with their level of COMBAT PROWESS. Your own COMBAT PROWESS is quite honed if you say so yourself (and you do. Often.) but as this will clearly be very important to the GAME at hand you decide that it would be helpful to take stock.
Yes, you think it is quite time that you all GET DOWN TO BUSINESS. To DEFEAT... The HUMANOID NPCs.
CS: It occurs to ~me~ that while fighting is clearly a key aspect of this game... ~~CS
CS: Some of you may not be versed in the art of altercation as ~I~. ~~CS
CS: Therefore, ~I~ think it is of the utmost importance that ~we~ identify ~our~ roughhousing resources. ~~CS
CS: ~Our~ group's DUELOGRAPHIC, if you will. ~~CS
CS: So. ~~CS
CS: Who of ~us~ can fight? ~~CS
CS: How well? ~~CS
CS: For those that can't, ~I~ suggest ~we~ put together a crash course on clashing. ~~CS
CS: To begin, ~I~ am more than capable of both handling ~myself~ and teaching others. ~~CS

6ut theyre adequate for my need5

Survival is certainly the first step to victory. ~~CS
All bragging aside, would you describe your abilities as merely "passable" for survival or something beyond that? ~~CS

5omewhat 6eyond that
a11 mode5ty a5ide
i can u5ua11y damage would6e attacker5 to the point of di5a6ling or di5uading them
im much 6etter when i can choo5e the terrain and mold it to my advantage
it5 alway5 5ati5fying to knock 5omeone into a hidden 5pike trap
=:)

That should be handy as well. ~~CS
There do not appear to be many guaranteed "safe" areas in this game... ~~CS
Securing a sort of "home base" from sneak attack and invasion will be an important step! ~~CS

norma11y anyway
ive 6een having trou6le getting any of the5e room5 truly clear of 5pawning
they 5eem to pop up in unexpected place5 a11 the time
may6e one of you wi11 figure out 5omething ive mi55ed

Logically ~we~ could secure an area by having one or more players always in a set location. ~~CS
~We~ could even grow this "safe area" by having other players point their server cameras as far from their respective clients as possible to cover the most ground... ~~CS

it11 6e tricky to get enough people to make a 5ecure radiu5
6ut i do want to te5t that
have you noticed whether 5prite5 count a5 Line of 5ight
no subject
~I~ would think not, since they technically count as game constructs now... ~~CS
But it's worth testing! ~~CS

i hope they would contri6ute to a relatively 5afe location for recuperation
i11 pa55 on my finding5 the next nap i take
now im not reading thi5 whole memo 5o if you could give a 5ummary

6ranche5 are ver5atile
there5 permutation5 like tree5 poi5onou5 to the touch or with 5pike5 or the den5e 5olidity of iron wood
they can 6e carved into 5hape5 remini5cent of other weapon5
and theyre ea5y to replace
why wouldnt i 6e 5eriou5
no subject
So you're saying that due to technicalities, they can perform like an array of weapons while still technically falling under "branchkind"? ~~CS
no subject
rough pike5 and 5pear5 are ea5y enough
if theyre carved to re5em6le other weapon5 too clo5ely they can 5witch 5peci6i and 6e Inacce55i6le
i found that out when i made a nail6at 6y com6ining a 6ranch with 5ome 6r6wire
once i 5anded the la5t kno6 out of it my 5peci6u5 didnt recognize it anymore
i can only u5e it with 6r6wirekind now

Now there's a specibus that sounds like it has some interesting applications... ~~CS

laying 5trand5 under leave5 i5 good for deterring tre5pa55er5
and it5 a lot ea5ier to retrieve than loo5e caltrap5
6ut
fighting 6y whipping around a coil of 6ar6wire i5 painful =:[
i do not recommend it

Especially if it is extra long and unwieldy... ~~CS
With some practice, though, ~I'm~ sure you could get it under control and master it! ~~CS

You reread that three times to be sure you understood him correctly.
there5 not much purpo5e to a whip that i5nt long and unwieldy
it5 not ranged and it cant di5arm
an unornamented 6ranch i5 6etter than a 5hort whip 5ince at lea5t a 6ranch ha5 heft
and
do you know how a11 that 5ounded

hahaha A+
