Of course, as we have not yet seen the outcome of the meteor shower, there is some uncertainty.
However due to some information we have regarding the game, we believe it is connected to the end of the world it originates upon.

Of course, I'm not entirely sure how reliable the source was.
But size the game seems to work more or less as advertised, I'm inclined to take it on faith.
I, for one, would prefer not to die in the near future if I can avoid it.
