-- CURRENT blackoutEtude [BE] RIGHT NOW opened memo INFODUMP --

since I can't believe that most of you
still don't even know who your teammates are
(except for maybe the humans but come on that's easy)
I think it's pretty safe to assume most of you also haven't been doing much to figure out how this game works
and why some of you suck so bad at it
although really
there's no helping it in some cases
fair warning, this is long as shit because I've ~actually~ been looking shit up about this game
so buckle in kiddos
time to kick this steam-powered information locomotive into proverbial gear

You are now KAPRAO OCIMUM, and you have been pretty quiet lately! You believe in being quiet, for most of the part. You don't think you've done anything that's really worth announcing to anyone -- you've found your second gate, and you've already worked out a way to reach it that you hope works. But you're not going yet, because you still have things to do and you are waiting for a visitor.

So instead you are here to talk about FLOWERS.

...Well, sort of. You know no one here is actually interested in flowers, but you are here to talk about it because the game seems to have seen fit to provide game things in the form of flowers.

You've taken a picture of them with your husktop, so when you open the memo you attach the file to it. You don't expect anyone to actually know what specific flowers they are, but their colours should be VERY FAMILIAR. Especially to your own sessionmates, considering they're theirs.

Kaprao: Open memo )

After a very good point was brought up, you decide to add to your memo, because this is also important shit.

a|so
i don't think most of us know how many aspects and ro|es there are in this game?
and what they are specifica||y
so i'd appreciate it if you can share what you do know about a|| that

Though the keyword here is "try", you guess.

Or something. )

This is it. You're definitely hopelessly lost and the heat has, once again, become unbearable. You worry for awhile that this might really be it and you'll die out here in the sand, but right as you feel ready to faint, a grand building resolves itself out of the hazy air.

Or. Part of a building. By the time you reach its odd black foundation, you realize half of it is gone, sliced clean away. Still, what's left provides more then enough shade and you head inside to rest for a time. It's only after you've awoken from a fitful nap that you notice the empty spiderwebs strung across the ceiling and into the corners and you manage to become... mildly disturbed. This is unlike anything else you've seen so far and you wonder if perhaps you've been pursuing the wrong quest all along. Perhaps there's another puzzle? The outside of this building certainly looks like a larger, far more intricate version of the temples in your consorts' cities. And these webs look new enough that something must have strung them recently...

Confused and, if you're honest with yourself, desperate, you take out your husktop and start up trollian.

-- CURRENT austereAstronomer [AA] RIGHT NOW opened memo on board Team planning, welcome to new players --

AA: If you're reading this memo, that means you have been invited to play a game called "Scrib."
AA: I will warn you right now that there is a great deal of inherent danger in proceeding with this path.
AA: You will almost certainly need to fight for your life immediately.
AA: But unlike meteors, the challenges this game presents can be fought and overcome.
AA: If you think you are not up to it, this is a good time to back out. Once you enter the game, there is no turning back.
AA: But if you still want to play, we're going to need to do some planning.
AA: Who do we have on board?
