[OPEN] PROSPIT MINGLE

You are now on PROSPIT.

If you've awakened in this kingdom, your DREAM SELF is free to leave their TOWER and explore the city below. There may be a few things out of the ordinary, however; some of the resident PROSPITIANS appear to be on edge...

If you look closely, you will find a series of violet posters plastered up on the walls of the kingdom: these posters are headlined with LIES AND SLANDER, though that might only be the case if you actually like the people pictured on them. You might see one of your TEAMMATES or even just a FRIEND, beneath the headline...

DO THE HEROES CONTINUE TO SLEEP? DO THEY AWAKEN? HAVE THEY HIDDEN THEMSELVES AWAY?
THE SYLPH PULLS THROUGH! THE RING'S CRY IS ANSWERED!
THE KNIGHT IS DEAD. OUR MINDS ARE LOST.

The headlines are uncountable - you're willing to bet that there is one for every player in your session. You wouldn't be surprised if there were one about you on your opposing moon!

Perhaps you'd better locate one of your teammates, or ask the PROSPITIANS what's happening. This has to be a setup by the WHITE QUEEN.

Aria: be similarly interested in the propaganda.

The poster Aria is peering at depicts a young man with dark skin and light hair, wrapped in derse robes. She floated closer to ground level for the express purpose of examining this patch of purple in a sea of gold. She's still floating actually, so as to better look over the heads of the Prospitians gathered there. They sure do come in all shapes and sizes, don't they...

She's been awake a while now. Maybe they've grown used to her? In any case, the poster and its image don't make her very happy.

Aria is eventually done staring at the poster. It doesn't really do anything for her, after all, but she does spot the little Prospitian looking up at her. ...so she floats down and in fact eventually lands, giving him a friendly smile.

hello!

Win? Wait. Propaganda. Black and white shelled people. ...win. For a moment, Aria looks surprised, but then she merely looks thoughtful. Still, her tone remains friendly when she adresses the Prospitian again. Is that a boy or a girl, anyway? So difficult to tell with the carapaces...

"Yes, I am one of the heroes. My name is Aria." Introductions have to go first, after all. "D'you suppose we'll have to fight the heroes from Derse at some point?"

Just a question, of course. But she absolutely does not want to have to fight her friends.

Aria could only shrug at not being recognized. After all, Prospit was a big place. Not everyone knew everyone. She listened, herself now pensive, wondering if they really would be dragged into this war of theirs while she followed the Prospitian's eyes toward Skaia. There was no point that she could see in fighting her friends, so she certainly hoped they could all stay out of it.

It was the pause that broke her out of her own musing.

"Unfamiliar?" Perhaps she could get some information. Or even some vague hint. At this point, anything might have some value.

"It isn't?"

She looked up. For her, it was Skaia. But then, how was she supposed to tell one from the other? She hadn't even been awake that long. But if it wasn't theirs... then did it belong to one of the troll sessions? Or maybe this Prospitian did, and it was the human session Skaia? Or were things just... merging somehow?

It was impossible to tell though, so she frowned at the sky in frustration.

"I wonder whose it is, then..."

But more importantly, "Are you still going to fight?"

Unlike the other 'Heroes', you've always talked to the little carapace people- or at least, you have since you woke up. Which oddly enough, you seem to have done long ago, unlike some of the others. You're not sure if that makes you the freak, or them.

Regardless, since you're asleep, you might as well head out to talk to them, so you float down to the street level and flag the first unhurried one you see down.

oi, little carapace bloke
or dame
not really all that sure
any news 'bout what's going on over on Derse♫

Despite how weird they are, you can't help but think the little carapace people are kind of cute. Especially with how excitable they are. They remind you of slightly jittery, not as fluffy versions of your consorts honestly.

so they're up to something, but no one knows what♫
is there any way to get to Derse from here♫
you know, just in case someone wanted to have a look♫

your ships aren't ready♫
is there any way they would know that♫

Because if there is, they might have reason to worry, depending where they're expecting those ships. A freight between Derse and Skaia probably isn't a good idea.

is there anything else you guys are behind on♫

You can understand why he's shaking. From what you've managed to gather, Prospit isn't exactly full of Serious Warriors, no matter how they try.

well, that you ain't gotta worry about
I'm worth ten of their heroes alone
so trust, yeah♫

Of course, depending on their aspects and titles, some of them might be harder to deal with than others. But then again, you're not the type to worry about the odds of things.

Odds are for wimps who don't try and take shit on regardless. But just in case...

say
wouldn't happen to know anythin' about why the other Prospit jerks are showing up, would ya♫

It didn't take Bharal long to notice all of the little flecks of purple scattered throughout the golden city, especially given his vantage point while flying. They seemed to be getting a lot of attention from the people of Prospit, as well, so he quickly landed near a particularly high concentration of them, to try and gather information and see these posters for himself. As he moved closer, apologizing for the occasional nudge or bump while moving through the crowd, he drew close enough to actually start to make out words, and noticed that there were pictures, too. Most of them were of people he didn't recognize; given that they were likely other players in the game, odds were fair that Bharal at least knew of them, but he didn't know what many of the other players looked like.

Rather than comb through all of the different posters, Bharal looked to the nearest Prospitan, and gently tried to get their attention. He wasn't really used to talking to people in person very much, and didn't want to seem rude.

E-Excuse me, do you know what anything about these posters? 'Tis been a long time since I have been on Prospit, and I am afraid I am a bit behind on current events.

H-Heroes?;

You're a little surprised by that. You haven't heard mention of "heroes" before. You suppose that that might be the name of the groups of players. There being different groups, of which you are only a member of one, seems to verify this. And it seems that Prospit and Derse are at war, which is something you'd heard of from other players, but is nice to get confirmed. You really are behind on your lore.

Looking a little closer at the words on the posters, you can conclude that, indeed, many of the posters say some rather unkind things. You turn to the Prospitans.

I do not suppose that you would mind if I took some of these down?; You are correct, they are not very nice posters;

Ah, excellent;

With that, you lift into the air, and begin collecting posters from the immediate area, while also trying to continue your conversation.

So, how have things with Derse been going?; I have been away for some time, and am quite behind on the times;

Well, you probably should have expected that answer, but it's still a little jarring.

Why do they have such enmity for you all?; And oh?; What makes you say that?;
