[OPEN] PROSPIT MINGLE

You are now on PROSPIT.
If you've awakened in this kingdom, your DREAM SELF is free to leave their TOWER and explore the city below. There may be a few things out of the ordinary, however; some of the resident PROSPITIANS appear to be on edge...
If you look closely, you will find a series of violet posters plastered up on the walls of the kingdom: these posters are headlined with LIES AND SLANDER, though that might only be the case if you actually like the people pictured on them. You might see one of your TEAMMATES or even just a FRIEND, beneath the headline...
DO THE HEROES CONTINUE TO SLEEP? DO THEY AWAKEN? HAVE THEY HIDDEN THEMSELVES AWAY?
THE SYLPH PULLS THROUGH! THE RING'S CRY IS ANSWERED!
THE KNIGHT IS DEAD. OUR MINDS ARE LOST.
The headlines are uncountable - you're willing to bet that there is one for every player in your session. You wouldn't be surprised if there were one about you on your opposing moon!
Perhaps you'd better locate one of your teammates, or ask the PROSPITIANS what's happening. This has to be a setup by the WHITE QUEEN.

She looks pretty lonely, unfortunately.

What PERRIX (currently sprawled half-in his RECOUPERACOON in a perfect "paint me like one of your french girls" pose) can recognize are the various bits of FLARP GEAR and WORKOUT EQUIPMENT in the room. Or, well, he could if he were awake. Which he is not. Once he is, however, he will probably have a thing or two to say about the CRUDE PASTEL DEFACINGS on his walls and items: drawings of several UNCOMFORTABLY HAPPY SMILEY FACES and PRINCESS REGALIA.
You can add to the graffiti if you'd like. Or attempt to WAKE THE KNIGHT. Or just NOPE THE FUCK BACK OUT.
no subject
PERRIX is in the most astonishing sleep pose you've ever seen. How can he rest like that? Why isn't he stirring and awake already? You add the question to your mental tally of BEWILDERING QUESTIONS about this game and ignore it. There is a room to explore now.
The images on the walls raise more QUESTIONS. Who drew these? Why? And most importantly, can you add to the drawings?
You attempt to recreate his symbol around one of the UNCOMFORTABLY HAPPY SMILEY FACES so the expression is inside the circle. If it depicted a troll, that troll would have ridiculous horns. You sneak another peek at the KNIGHT and confirm that his horns are nothing like that.
White Queen
Which is to say, not well at all. You're not one to let it show, but already you can feel that there's something going on that doesn't bode well for Prospit at all. Given how much work you have to deal with, you're not exactly expecting any visitors...
...but who's to say one of the Prospitan heroes won't show up?

you're the HBIC here, right♫
You're aware, of course, that it's probably not wise to talk to royalty like that, considering the royalty on your home planet. But you are two weeks past giving a solitary fuck about anything like that.

Zurahe is fortunate indeed that you are a benevolent Queen, who does not let petty annoyances such as disrespect from her subjects get to her. And even if you were, your planet's Heroes would certainly be an exception.
While you are unsure of the direct meaning of your Heroes words, you believe you understand what she is asking. Your reply is regal and dignified, and would be displayed in a very fancy font if it were written.
"Indeed I am, young Hero. Do you seek an audience with me?"

late o'clock! and donny is the classiest mofo
And so you find yourself in front of the WHITE QUEEN herself. Unfazed by the atmosphere of the room, you begin to speak.
"All this bullshit makes you look pretty damn important, so just who the fuck are you?"
apologies to your inbox
If you had eyebrows, you would raise one at this Hero's language.
"I am the White Queen of Prospit, as you might have gathered from the castle and my crown. What brings you to seek an audience with me, young Hero?"

Parcel Mistress / Peregrine Mendicant
Well, you're not, really, not at all, you just think you could be, but you're not going to be. You're focused, you're moving, you're delivering mail! My, Prospit sure is pretty today, isn't it? You hardly notice the purple posters around as you run along doing your job.
While you may stumble upon a Prospitan hero, It's very obvious that you have one focus:
Durian: Attempt to Deliver the MAIL yourself
Thanks to Phaest and her notes on SCRIB, you had paper available to write your own note on the blank side.
The easiest way to do this would be to fly to each of the towers and drop a note on their faces. You're not doing it that way. Instead you're walking around the city with a stack of the letters, exploring side alleys and getting lost.
MAIL: Be Mail.
Oh.
Oh my goodness.
You're already rushing over to the Prospit hero who is holding a stack of letters before you even realize what you're doing. You stop nearby, hopping up and down slightly and glancing between Durian and the mail. Look at that mail! You really would like to deliver it, but he's got it. What to do, what to do?!
"Pardon me, hero, but you appear to have a substantial quantity of mail there!"
MAIL: You succeed at being the mail, even though you don't have envelopes or stamps yet.
MAIL: Require delivery.
Prospitans
Or, well, not just you, but you and you and you, and also you. There certainly are a lot of you, aren't there? Most of you are wandering about your daily Prospit lives, occasionally stopping to be fascinated by the purple propaganda posters that have appeared. I mean, really, this is new! Check it out!
But, mostly, you're just being Prospitans. You are literally everywhere. No doubt there's more than a few of you nearby the Prospitan heroes.
Aria: be similarly interested in the propaganda.
She's been awake a while now. Maybe they've grown used to her? In any case, the poster and its image don't make her very happy.

Of course, she's floating, and the little Prospitan can't float, but looking up at her is a thing that can happen.

Regardless, since you're asleep, you might as well head out to talk to them, so you float down to the street level and flag the first unhurried one you see down.
oi, little carapace bloke
or dame
not really all that sure
any news 'bout what's going on over on Derse♫

"Oh! Derse? Well." the Prospitan pauses, seeming thoughtful. He even stops hopping to take a contemplative moment to figure out exactly how to answer that. He knew enough about their Derse, since he was from Zurahe's Prospit, but the oddity and unfamiliar things that were all around right here at this moment...???
"It's a little confusing right now, but" he nodded "there's talk that our Derse is preparing something. But someone I'd never met before said, earlier, that there was something bigger? It's confusing!"

Rather than comb through all of the different posters, Bharal looked to the nearest Prospitan, and gently tried to get their attention. He wasn't really used to talking to people in person very much, and didn't want to seem rude.
E-Excuse me, do you know what anything about these posters? 'Tis been a long time since I have been on Prospit, and I am afraid I am a bit behind on current events.

==> Zurahe: Fight The Power
So you petition the Queen (and note to her how easy it is to sneak up to her) day in and day out while you're awake on Prospit. You take to the streets and gather as much support as you can from the strange little white carapace people as you can. If Derse wants to make its voice heard on Prospit, then Prospit will make its voice heard on Derse.
Or at the very least, your voice.
You didn't plan on making too much of a production of it- you'd only wanted to do something like hijack Derse's airwaves for a little while, maybe plant your own posters and headlines. The Prospitans, however, have their own ideas. It seems they've taken well to one of their Heroes lobbying so much against Derse in their waking hours, and their plan is a lot more involved than yours ever was. But you can't say no, not with the effort they're putting forth.
So you don't. And when the time comes...
No matter what-
-your voice will be heard.
And not just on Prospit either- the Prospitans are making sure of that. Nice though they may be, it seems as if Derse isn't the only bunch who likes to hit people where it hurts. In this case, you're pretty sure it's in the 'we have a hero who doesn't suck' category.
You'd say that you're sorry, but you'd be lying. Especially because they totally deserve this.
[ooc: The first song will only be audible on Derse if you're really listening for it-- but the second one will be hijacking their airwaves as best as Prospit can manage. Sorry she's not sorry.]
==> Phylus: Listen
Maybe you've been sleeping for too long; you've been having all sorts of nightmares, even when you sleep in your recuperacoon. These nightmares are more like visions, really -- dreams where you're wandering around in a city full of gold, with newspaper clippings and figures all in white. Still, scary enough that you always force yourself awake, because who wants to dream about a world they've never been to when you're scared about the world right outside your own hive?
But then there's this voice. And it's like...this amazing voice. And maybe, the nightmares don't seem so bad if you're listening to the singing. Maybe you should find where it...
comes from........
> Phylus: Wake Up

==> Avispa: Listen
Your eyes are drawn up to the moon above, and you wonder just how many others are listening. You can only look up and imagine how amazing it sounds to be up there, in person, listening...
(no subject)
==> Perrix: Listen
You suppose that you should probably find out who it is that's SINGING. PATRON OF THE ARTS that you occasionally are, you can quite appreciate a good voice, and it doesn't seem like a coincidence that you awoke just now. After all, it's QUITE FUCKING LOUD.
...You'll look into that just as soon as you get over being stunned by the ABHORRENT STATE OF YOUR ROOM.

==> Mandya: Watch
Your room has had a tv in it for quite some time, but since you've finally acknowledged your wakefulness on Derse, you have yet to be able to make it turn on. So you are quite surprised when, as you pout at your window, the tv switches on behind you and begins to emit music.
You turn around in surprise and stare at the figure on your screen. Is that...... is that Zurahe? But she's singing........ and you were pretty sure that was impossible for her.
Well, whoever it is, you suppose their voice is nice. Music has never really been your thing, but you're pretty sure this voice is a lot better than the trolls that sang the openings to a lot of your terrible tv shows.

So here you stand in front of the door to the studio she was performing in, and, after taking a deep breath, you knock. After all, it wouldn't be polite to just barge into a lady's room without permission, even if it wasn't really her room, and was instead some kind of music broadcasting studio thing? Bah, details. Besides, the last time you met on Prospit, you kind of crawled into her bedroom through the window. It couldn't hurt to start being more polite.

==> Bharal: Meet some of Prospit's inhabitants!
Once you wake up in your tower, though, you realize that you can continue making progress even while sleeping, by exploring Prospit! Last time you were here, you managed to get a general lay of the land, as well as meet some of your fellow Prospit dreamers, but there are still so many people to meet, from fellow heroes to Prospit natives! And maybe by talking to them, you can start to catch up on all of these things you've missed by being in the middle of nowhere for so long.
==> PM: Deliver mail.
And would you look at this mail? You didn't mean to peak, but you did, because some of the mail was just more of those purple posters. But it looks like this hero is receiving a pretty big stack of them. They come in all kinds of different styles, too! Maybe this hero is a collector? You're sort of curious!
But the first thing you do when you reach the top and find the hero? You do what any proper postal worker would do.
"I have your mail!"
==> Bharal: Wait I get mail?
==> PM: Deliver mail!!!
