If you look closely, you will find a series of golden posters plastered up on the walls of the kingdom: these posters are headlined with LIES AND SLANDER, though that might only be the case if you actually like the people pictured on them. You might see one of your TEAMMATES or even just a FRIEND, beneath the headline...

HEROES FAIL TO AWAKEN! ROGUE AND THIEF CONTINUE TO BE AT LARGE!
THE FALL OF PROSPIT'S HEROES REVERSED! A NEW ARMY HAS RISEN FROM THE ASHES!
THE PRINCE IS DEAD? THE PRINCE IS ALIVE? HAS TIME GONE CRAZY?

The headlines are uncountable - you're willing to bet that there is one for every player in your session. You wouldn't be surprised if there were one about you on your opposing moon!

Perhaps you'd better locate one of your teammates, or ask the DERSITES what's happening. This has to be a setup by the BLACK QUEEN.

Yep, you can. Though, just here on Derse. Messin' with everybody all the time. And that's our job. [ Thumbs up. ] ... though I might need to go feign ignorance to him so he doesn't get suspicious.

Man, if this is what you're job's supposed to be, then it's even more bullshit that everyone else has you doing their work. This would be one sweet gig otherwise. [ she leans back in her chair and spins a bit, admiring all the screens. she would probably give her left horn for something like this that worked everywhere, not just on derse ]

Ha. I think it's a pretty "sweet gig" as it is. It's good to walk around. Takes the suspicion away, anyway.

[ But he looks at the screen, noting that Jack seems particularly murderous suddenly. ] ... Hm. You've got the badge, so I need to step out. Gotta pacify Jack before he hurts or breaks anything. You'll be fine here. No one's due in here aside from me for the next few hours, and I'll be back before then.

[polygraphing]

Oh, uh, sure? I guess I can just hang out here. It'll be neat to check out everything on Derse, maybe mess with some fuckers. [ to be honest you're kind of unsure about being left alone, which is funny considering how normally you're mildly terrified of being around people. you guess things are a little different when you're asleep ]

[patriachy]

Feel free, just refrain from messing with me while I'm out. You're welcome to clock Jack one more time when I arrive, though, it'll help my story. [ He gives a little nod before heading out. ]

[ It's off to pacify the Jack, and boy is he not looking forward to it. ]

[ Meanwhile Mandya can watch him as he goes if she wants to. It's not like there's any shortage of observation panels to watch with. ]

[ she waves a bit as he heads out, then turns her attention to the screens. it takes some fiddling, but she manages to get one of the screens to follow DD indeed until he meets up with Jack, at which point she does indeed clock him one more time real good. she can't help but giggle as he jumps and swears and rages ]

Hehehehehehe....... [ and thus begins her rampage. dersites everywhere would soon find all sorts of mayhem in their little carapace lives, all courtesy of mandya. she is having the time of her life ]
